HC - Self Service Environment
Having online blanking and shops online allows customers to have the independence to do things for themselves. The online banking allows a self service for the customers, as it lets them put money into their account and transfer money over to another account. Also, the bank will allow their customer to apply for a loan and create a new account. Online shops are easier for the customers, as they are able to do it in the comfort of their own home, but they are still able to buy clothes or food and can get it delivered straight to them.
We can now as customers do our shopping online and have it delivered we can also compare prices with other shops to find the cheapest product. However it does cost to deliver and in the long run can be more expensive. When clothes shopping online there is more option than the shop as they may not have it in stock. With the online banking I believe it is still easier to go into a branch with ID.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your statement, but with the likes of many shopping markets and small businesses using Self-Service Environments more companies are starting to make more money from their online sites. This means that people are becoming unemployed in the shops because the company is making more money from the online sites.
ReplyDeleteTo summarise, I have learnt that self service environments are better for the businesses, as they provide the company with more income. However, I have also learnt that self service environments may be losing jobs for people on the shop floors of businesses.
